A TechFest for students to showcase their technical skills

Cyber Shadez is a technical event for undergraduate and graduate students, featuring the "TECHATHON" event. This year, the theme for the TECHATHON is cyber security, and students are encouraged to incorporate security features into their software or hardware solutions. Participants are free to use any technology or equipment they choose in the implementation process. The competition requires students to demonstrate the functionality and societal impact of their idea through multiple rounds of competition. Rules

  • The Techathon is open to all students currently enrolled in a UG or PG degree program at any college or university approved by appropriate regulatory authorities.

  • Teams can have a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4 members.

  • All the team members must COMPULSORY register for the Techathon via the Devfolio platform.

  • The code developed during the Techathon must be original and cannot be taken from external sources.

  • The code developed during the Techathon must be hosted using an open source platform.

  • The external libraries or frameworks (if any) used in the submission must be properly credited.

  • The final submission will be evaluated by judges at the end of the Techathon.

  • All team members must be present during the evaluation.

  • The required work must be completed within the allotted time frame of the Techathon.

  • The judges decision will be considered as final in determining the winners of the Techathon.

  • The top 10 submissions will be invited to present their work offline in-campus events happening on 24th and 25th Feb 2023.

  • Plagiarism or cheating of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in immediate disqualification.

  • By participating in the Techathon, teams give CodeCrafters Club and FCAIT, GLS University the right to use, distribute and change any materials produced during the event.

  • CodeCrafters Club and FCAIT, GLS University holds the right to modify the above rules as and when needed.
